Tomorrow is the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. If I was more on top of things I might be hosting a fun Jubilee parade watching party. But I am not on top of much these days. Summer break officially began today, and after one of the craziest weeks at work ever the only thing I am top of today is my fluffy bed and my overflowing DVR (ps -have you watched the new Junk Gypsy show on HGTV? Finally something fun!!) Since I am not throwing a fabulous royal hoopla I thought I could at least show you a few things I have found that I would use if I was hosting a party for a Queen.
If I had a Kindle I would download Cherry's Book for inspiration.
(to see some fun small village jubilee decorations check out her post today)
I would make each guest a small Union Jack pin cushion inspired by this one on Folksy
I would have a set or two of this adorable Printable Celebration Play Set out for {big and} small guest to play with.
The table would be set with these adorable Party Doilies
and I would serve homemade Cherry Jubilee Cheesecake Bars
Wouldn't that be a fun party?
Well, I can't pull together a party here at the house, but there is nothing stopping me from having a little party on the ole blog. So to celebrate the Queens Jubilee I am hosting a giveaway inspired by all things Red, White and British.
Last Spring my blog pal Penny sent me some wonderful British treats (because she knows how obsessed I am with all things English) and I have been waiting for the perfect moment to share some of those treats with you! What better time than a jubilee celebration?
Our own USA celebration is only a month away, so I thought I would also throw in a few American bits and pieces as well. After all, we are first cousins with the brits.
The giveaway includes:
A Commemorative Tin from the Royal Wedding of Kate and William.
A Cath Kidston Gift Bag
5 Air Mail Envelopes
2 types of Bakers Twin in Red, White and Blue
1 Roll of Red, White and Blue Crepe Paper Garland
1 Pack of Star Cutouts
1 American Flag Paper Garland
1 Yard of Velvet Red, White and Blue Ribbon
This giveaway is open for all. To enter just leave a comment on this post.
You can also enter by becoming a follower of this blog, following me on Twitter or pining this giveaway on Pinterest. (Just make sure to leave a comment letting me know you did!)
Good luck to you all!

What a jolly good giveaway! I have such a soft spot for all things English. Have you seen the Jubilee Queen special on ABC with Katie Couric. I haven't finished watching it yet (it's available online) but I was so fascinated to learn about Elizabeth's early life and see footage of her being young and fancy-free!

The blogging world really is a small world, isn't it? Cherry Menlove is my real life friend. She and my sister did their Discipleship Training School with YWAM together. One day I will go visit her and my other British friends...one day.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first comment here and I do just love your sweet blog! What a pretty giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am hoping and praying, fingers and toes crossed that I'm not to late!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! My Meme was a British citizen and she got to see the queen when she came through Canada as a teen. She remembered it as one of her favorite moments.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable giveaway!!! I loved celebrating the Royal Wedding by having high tea a local British tea room but it closed before I could celebrate the Jubilee there. If I win, I'll have everything I need for an "at home" celebration!!!
