the grass, in this case, is actually greener

Are you ready for another farm post? Hope so, cause friends, that is all I have today.
I am farm dreaming  and I cannot help it. Practicality and Easy Choices be damned, it is what I dream of.

Sometimes a girl just has to dream, right?
Sometimes a girl has to dare to imagine  a different life, as Birdie would say. because she believes in her gut it is what is best.

Sometimes you just feel it in your bones, that something is just meant to be, despite all evidence to the contrary.

So what shall I do then? I am going to pray. And pray. And maybe ask some other people to pray too. And then pray some more.

Oh, and I am going to droll over at Pinterest too...

Eggs & Boots, Henry, Red Barn, Sheep, Laundry, Kitchen, Chick, Cows, Quilt

And then, whatever will be, will be. Que sara, sara...

  3. I love this post. I too had a dream of being a farm girl. At my age that's probably not going to happen. But, you go girl! Make it happen!

  4. J, this is the exact way I ended up where I am today. Dream. Then take small steps toward the doing. Take a leap of faith and make your dreams come true. You will be forever changed.

  5. Jerusalem, I know this is easier to say than to do, but if this is something you so desperately want.... just go for it. Take that first step, then the second. Find a way to do it! My cousin's wife passed away at a young age. On the anniversary of her death, this is what Pat posted on his Facebook page about his wife: "Her message to you would be - if you have always wanted to do something and you’ve been waiting for the right time. It’s now." Every time I read that passage, it brings tears to my eyes because I'm still waiting for the "right time" for so many things.... Life can be short. That's all I'm saying.... I'm sending you hugs. Nancy
