Goin' to the birds

I am trying desperately to get the majority of my custom banner orders done this week so I can move on into Spring and Easter. Just so you know, that was also my goal last week, but then I suddenly had a flush of RUSH orders and out went the plan to "get ahead...."

Easter is coming up so fast this year that I know I don't have much time to get things done for the shoppes. Therefore most of what I am going to be doing is going to be "spring" focused - I am calling this collection "Nesting" - and will be filled with items featuring birds, nest, flowers etc in happy springy fresh colors along with the Easter items. I am excited because I have stumbled onto some new paper at one of the larger craft stores and a new locally owned little paper store in my neighboorhood. Woohoo! I love the papers I usually use but I was definately needing an injection of fresh prints for inspiration. Also I am very excited to find a little local shop that I can support- always a "good thing" as Martha would say!


Hopefully everyone else will love the new papers as much as me...

Also hopefully everyone will love these new candles which are going up at Storia HOME on Friday, they are from the Spring "Nesting" collection and are called Pink Bird and Blue Nest. I think I am also going to perhaps do them in reverse as well. What do you think?
